Welcome to the Americana & Ales Beer Festival, a premier celebration of regional brewing and authentic American music located in the heart of Historic Downtown Shawnee, Kansas.

Americana & Ales was founded with a dual purpose: to showcase the incredible talent of our regional craft brewers and to give back to the community that supports them. Set against the backdrop of downtown’s historic charm, we invite beer enthusiasts and music lovers alike to gather for a day of discovery, flavor, and rhythm.

A Festival with a Purpose

We believe that great beer tastes even better when it’s doing good. We are proud to announce that 100% of the proceeds from the Americana & Ales Beer Festival go directly to KC Cause.

KC Cause is a local charity dedicated to providing essential resources and support to Kansas City families in need. By attending the festival, you aren’t just enjoying a world-class event—you are directly impacting the lives of our neighbors and helping strengthen the Kansas City metro area.

The Beer Festival Experience

Americana & Ales is designed to be the ultimate summer destination for craft beverage fans.

• The Pours: We have curated an extensive lineup of the region’s finest breweries. From crisp lagers and hop-forward IPAs to experimental ales and seasonal specialties, the festival offers a deep dive into the local craft scene.

• The Music: To complement your tasting experience, we host a powerhouse lineup of Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated Americana and Bluegrass artists. Experience free live performances on our outdoor stages while you sip.

• The Atmosphere: Spread across the Shawnee City Hall grounds and the historic Aztec Shawnee Theater, the festival offers a vibrant, walkable footprint filled with local merchants, food vendors, and the best hospitality the Midwest has to offer.

• Admission: Live music is FREE and open to all ages. Beer festival tasting passes and individual pours are available for purchase (21+).
